Walsh Engineering & Production is proud to be a partner to our local community organizations. Throughout the year, we provide donations, volunteers, and sponsorships across the San Juan Basin. Our employees are proud to provide this support, and we all consistently look for new opportunities to participate in our community. Here are some of the donations and activities we participated in during the Fall of 2023.

Piedra Vista Girls Volleyball

Walsh Engineering & Production was proud to be a Double Bronze Sponsor for the Piedra Vista Girls Volleyball team for the Fall 2023 season. Our donation will be utilized throughout the season to help cover uniforms, travel, and other expenses such as equipment upgrades. We look forward to seeing the team compete and bring home some wins this season!

VFW Post #614

Walsh, along with our partners Epic Energy, was proud to donate to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #614 in Aztec, New Mexico. Our local VFW Post replaced and repaired their A/C units to ensure safety for veterans gathering in the enclosed space. Our donation went towards the costs accrued to improve the post. We are proud to support our local community of veterans and look forward to working together in the future.

Boys and Girls Club Annual Fundraising BBQ

Each year, Walsh Engineering & Production purchases tickets for the Boys & Girls Club of Farmington Annual Fundraising BBQ. This year, we purchased tickets to support their programs. We view this as a team building activity, along with a great opportunity to invest in our children’s futures. It is a family event, so it is nice to meet our co-workers’ families and support an important community organization at the same time.

Aztec Chamber of Commerce Oktoberfest Fall Festival

Aztec Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual Oktoberfest Fall Festival, where the local community gathers for a raffle, booths, arts and crafts, a car show, and good music! Walsh participated as a sponsor with a donation and purchased raffle tickets. Several Walsh team members participated and enjoyed the festivities with their families. We look forward to participating in the Aztec Chamber of Commerce’s events in the future.

4 Corners Home for Children

The 4 Corners Home for Children recently expanded their facility to accommodate more children. Their fundraising efforts also enabled them to retain two new certified staff members to provide quality care for the children. Walsh Engineering & Production was proud to contribute to finalizing their expansion before the winter.
